Alessandro Antonioli the Managing Partner of Bloompac (www.bloompacenergy.com) a new breed of Energy company delivering multi-technology solutions in South East Asia. Alessandro has 20 years experience in energy with senior roles in bp and GE Vernonva, beside investment experience in the Asian Private Equity sector
For bp, Alessandro has served as head of countries for the Nordics and Vietnam, where he’s been leading the Offshore Wind market entry and establishment of offshore wind operations, gaining access to more than 6GW of first-of-their kind assets.
As vice president for renewables growth in bp, Alessandro lead commercial strategies and execution for bp’s low carbon energy portfolio in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to this role Alessandro held several roles in M&A and Oil Trading for bp.
Before joining bp, Alessandro was based in Singapore as the investment manager for Nadathur Holdings in Asia to expand its hospitality portfolio. He was also a project engineer in GE, and was responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of several transmission and distribution projects in Europe.
Alessandro is passionate about low carbon technologies and a fervent advocate for the empowerment of local communities. He has supported several start-ups, including launching Aevlor, a waste-to-energy company based in Singapore. A native of Italy, Alessandro lived in the UK, France and Singapore and worked across all continents.
Alessandro holds a master in business administration from INSEAD, France, and a master’s degree in civil and structural engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He has a daughter and enjoys palying tennis and the piano in his spare time.
