Dr. Chu Duc Hoang

Dr. Chu Duc Hoang holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Washington University in St. Louis, USA.
He is currently involved in the management of science, technology, and innovation at the National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF), under the Ministry of Science and Technology. His work focuses on supporting enterprises, organizations, and individuals in technology innovation. Previously, Dr. Chu Duc Hoang taught and conducted research in the Biomedical Engineering (BME) program at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2004-2016).
In addition, Dr. Chu Duc Hoang has also lectured at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He has been actively involved in startup innovation in diabetes management (Zinmed), the management of scientific and technological activities at the Institute of Agricultural Technology Support Research (Astri), the Institute for Applied and Technological Innovation in Nha Trang (Nitia), and several other enterprises and organizations.
Dr. Chu Duc Hoang has authored over 50 research papers, presented at 20 conferences, published four books, and completed five projects in biomedical engineering, healthcare, information technology, technology management, and innovation. He has also provided consultancy and support for over 100 scientists and businesses in innovation. Currently, he manages and funds more than 80 science and technology projects.
Regarding social activities, Dr. Chu Duc Hoang serves as Vice President of the Vietnam Young Science and Technology Intellectuals Association (VAYSE), a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Association (CVFA), a member of the Vietnam Research Commercialization Support Network (LIFVietnam), and an administrator of the Vietnam Biomedical Engineering Community (BME), among other social organizations.
